Hailing from Lithuania, rising singer-songwriter, Irma Vado, has taken the music industry by storm. She is raw, relatable, and she has a sound that pushes the boundaries. In a time were music has become less about artistic expression, Irma Vada continues to defy industry norms. She is a pioneer and a leader of this next generation of rising music artists. Now, she enters our pages with her debut album “AQUARIUM”.

“AQUARIUM” is a nine-track masterpiece that proves that Vado has that “IT” factor. Over the album’s duration, Vado dives into deep themes and crafts records that are carried by exceptional vocals and sonics. Her songwriting is raw, and it evokes raw emotions that give you a personal look into one of the industry’s best rising talents.

Sonically, the album blends elements of hip-hop, R&B, & pop into one captivating sound. Her versatility as a songwriter and producer allows this project to give listeners a refreshing sound that meets all their musical needs. For me, I loved the emotion on the album. At times, I felt like I was being seen, and that made feel like I wasn’t alone in this world.

My favorite songs from the album were “Like You”, “Insanity”, & “Only At Night”. “Like You” is an introspective record laced with engaging guitar riffs, smooth transitions, and her vocals are in the pocket. The song details a heart-wrenching relationship dilemma that is relatable to many. Her vocal approach on this record was to perfection. “Insanity” is my favorite sonically. The record is perfect to listen to at sunset. Everything about this song is captivating. From the sonics to the lyrics, Vado rises to the occasion. “Only At Night” is a moody and cinematic record that helps close out the album. Overall, this is one of my favorite albums, and it proves that Irma Vado will be a star.
