PGonDaTrak Doesn’t Miss On His Latest Album, “One Medal at a Time”

Since the evolution from CD's (physical copies) to streaming, we have continued to see albums become less of an experience. There was a time when album’s would take you on a cohesive journey and allow you to connect with artists in a way that felt genuine. With streaming and the need for viral moments, albums have begun to sound like playlists, and they rarely ever offer a narrative. However, rising artist, PGonDaTrak seeks to change that.

On his debut album “One Medal at a Time”, the rising artist flexes his music prowess. His vocals are exceptional, and the songwriting is captivating. In addition, his vibrato is captivating. The reason I truly love this body of work is because it’s an experience that is carried by various sounds and influences. This experience is filled with lyrical content ranging from positive self-awareness to having fun in the sun, dancing the Bachata, and a little bit of everything clean in between (Not to leave out, PG let's you know that his baller status is with the big boys). This album also contains an original narrative: "The Multiverse Marathon of Music", an intergalactic event that showcases music and artists from the entire multiverse, with PGonDaTrak as the planet Terra's representative.

When it comes to my favorite tracks, “Pachata”, “Chil’ren”, “Tha Juice”, & “Like Dat?”. Overall, this has been one of the most fun albums to listen to for me. Although he is still early into his career, PG has a high ceiling and will be a household name. Until then, stream his latest album below.
