If you haven’t heard of Slatt Zy yet then you are definitely missing out. The 18 year old artist out of Chattanooga, Tennessee has had a truly explosive break out year! Just a year ago, he was working at fast food restaurants while releasing music videos to jump start his music career. In the span of a few months, the videos he had been releasing were getting noticed by notable stars in the industry such as YNW Melly. From that point on, he never looked back, eventually signing a record deal with 100k management and traveling the country to do shows.
His latest album “East Lake Projects” is an open book into Slatt Zy’s struggles and experiences through his upbringings in life. With 13 tracks lasting all around 36 minutes, this is a project which could be streamed all in one setting. One factor that separates Slatt Zy from the rest is his authenticity and passion he exerts into his music. When listening to his music, you can almost feel the emotions and pain through his vocals. I believe it's safe to say, this kid has no ceiling when it comes to how far he can really go. We wouldn’t be surprised if he finds his way to the top of music charts really soon!
