We had to stop playing this song on repeat after the 8th time in a row, just ‘For Our Own Good.’ CaRter definitely isn’t new to blessing us with the most addicting of songs, and this is no exception!

The ‘Sidewalks’ metaphor is used beautifully throughout the lyrics of this track. Telling a personal, vulnerable story while drawing back to that metaphor, CaRter drew us in the entire 2 minutes and 37 seconds. Not to mention how smooth those melodies sound! You’ll definitely want to give this one a listen if you haven’t.

Lyrics That Stick:

“Fighting with my head

For know reason

I know you don’t believe it

When you say you don’t have meaning”
