Kayla DiVenere - “Date Myself”

The industry has a new star with rising singer-songwriter Kayla DiVenere. Hailing from Montreal, the LA-based artist has continued to captivate listeners with her daring and introspective sound. Vocally, she has one of the most memorable voices and her songwriting is otherworldly. At only 19-years-old, she has proven she has the star power to be a household name. Cementing herself as one of the brightest young stars, she recently impressed me with her single “Date Myself”. The record is about self-love after a failed relationship. Carried by warm sonics and an intoxicating hook, Kayla shines over the song’s duration. “Date Myself” is an anthemic tune that deserves to be heard!

Mac Anderson - “Phase Out”

Mac Anderson is everything the industry has been missing. If you are someone that has been hopelessly waiting for an artist to take your breath away, look no further. Mac Anderson is the antidote you never thought you needed. He is the definition of a real artist. He is daring, raw, and his soulful records provide a blanket of warmth in your darkest hours. Now, he debuts on our pages with his latest single “Phase Out”. “Phase Out” is a beautiful alt-r&b record that reminds of why I fell in love with music. Vocally, Mac is exceptional. He reminds me of artists like Omar Apollo, Daniel Caesar, & Ryan Beatty but he still remains himself. “Phase Out” is one of my finds of the year. Mac Anderson will be playing sold out shows in the near future so catch on now!

SAINT KID - “Pieces of You”

After impressing me with his single “Costume”, SAINT KID returns to our pages with his groundbreaking record “Pieces of You”. “Pieces of You” is a captivating single that finds SAINT KID displaying his admiration for his girlfriend. The way he uses imagery to paint a picture of his emotions is beautiful. The record displays a man that’s looking to grow and become better for his significant other. SAINT KID is one of the best artists out right now and I love his storytelling ability. Lyrically, he is unmatched. “Pieces of You” is a testament to his exceptional vocal and songwriting ability. With 2023 coming to end, SAINT KID is on my list to become a breakout artist in 2024.

Kayla Ann Jo - “Crawling Back”

If you need a rush of adrenaline mixed with an angsty anthem, look no further. Debuting on our pages, Kayla Ann Jo has us hooked to her new single “Crawling Back”. For those new to the artist, Kayla is a versatile singer with a genre-bending sound. What impresses me about Kayla is that she is one of the most polarizing artists out. I rarely see artists have such an exceptional vocal performance on their debut record. However, Kayla Ann Jo rose to the occasion. She is a natural talent and her sound is captivating. “Crawling Back” is a nostalgic record that takes me back to the rush and energy of the early 2000s. The record was otherworldly from a vocal and sonic standpoint. To add to the captivating vocal performance, she delivers one of the best hooks of the year. So, make sure to add the single to your rotation!

Brayell - “Wait for Me”

Hailing from Southern California, rising singer-songwriter, Brayell, is an artist that has recently caught my attention. Known for being a musical chameleon, the burgeoning star has been growing a cult-like following with his daring sound. His songwriting always tells a story, and you can tell he is a modern-day poet. Brayell’s ability to express his feelings is a talent in itself. The singer recently released his single “Wait for Me”, and it is the perfect song for the time of year. The song is laced with engaging guitar riffs, exceptional vocals, and a hook that will have you singing your heart out. Brayell has been my favorite surprise of the month, & I look forward to hearing more from him. I’ll make sure to keep this on repeat until his next release!

LOVERBOYYPRINCE- “Care For Me”

As a music blogger, I spend hours looking for new artists that I believe can break into the industry. Although I find some talented artists, not all of them have the potential to breakthrough. This week, I was blessed to find an R&B singer that has all the qualities I’m looking for. With that being said, let me introduce you to LOVERBOYYPRINCE. LOVERBOYYPRINCE is a singer that is bringing back the soul and vibes back to R&B. He is unapologetic as a songwriter, and he has this ability to transition from singing to rapping in a memorable way. On his latest record “Care For Me”, he provides listeners with a unique sonic experience. The record is carried by lush melodies, sensual lyrics, and the hook is a chef’s kiss. At times, the record feels as if it could have been a song on Frank Ocean’s “Channel Orange”. Overall, this is one of my favorite recent find so stream it below!
