We all want to be the best. Better than everyone else or at least try to be, right? Briston Maroney explains this drive fueled by nature so well in his latest song, “Better Than You,” exceptionally well.
He channels his hippie, earth-centered personality through this song perfectly. The intensity in the vocals brings a rock & roll element as well. Unfortunately, sometimes we won’t be the best at everything. Maroney mentions how he is striving so hard to be better but knows deep down it’s just not the case in this situation.
This song is hella humbling and very real in the sense that it reminds us to strive to always be at the top, while also maintaining realism. Briston Maroney, nobody is “Better Than You” though!
