slush puppy might’ve just simultaneously given the most pretty and most hardcore song of the year. ‘Juliette’ is a rollercoaster of a song to listen to, but every part of it just feels so absolutely perfect!
The variance is vocal tone to match the feel of the production is incredible. There’s a part where slush puppy literally hits an all-out screamo note that could break a glass, then sings softly over a plucked guitar seconds after. With it’s wide range of sounds however, this one still feels emotionally cohesive and carries an overarching sense of freedom and love. Give it a listen if you haven’t yet!
