Always Never - Shattered

When it comes to making dark R&B, Always Never are second to none. The duo’s ability to craft sensual records that have a cinematic touch is the reason they are one of the top acts coming out of Toronto. With their new single ‘Shattered’, they come back to our pages with a confessional song about a broken relationship.
The self-produced record is smooth, and it has a dark but ambient feel that will put you in a trance. In addition to the intoxicating instrumental, the duo’s layered melodies and buttery harmonies will have you playing this on repeat. ‘Shattered’ is one of the strongest songs I have heard from the duo, and I can tell that they are maturing. Their songwriting is raw and pure, and the vocal performances are some of the strongest I have heard from them. With that being said, make sure to put this in your playlist!
