Is there a more powerful drug than love? Suki Waterhouse doesn’t seem to think so as she’s drowning in her latest single “On This Love.” She’s every girl who’s in too deep and down too bad.
Throughout the push and pull of this electric indie tune, she contradicts herself by waiting for this man. Suki is saying she’s unwilling to put up with someone who loves his mistress but then proceeds to pine.
It’s crazy how one can legitimately feel her overwhelming sensation by the intensity of the instrumental and the delivery in her tone. Waterhouse uses this very dreamy, far-away sound within her tone that sets the tone of her delusion.
