Tommy Ruhingubugi, better known by his stage name FRVRFRIDAY, is back on our pages with his latest emotional offering titled ‘TIME FOR YOU’. The record is immersed with talent, and the Canadian artist shines with his silky falsetto.
‘TIME FOR YOU’ carries a modern R&B sound sonically that is led by an ambient guitar with subtle chords and hi-hats laced within the beat. The Dylan Graham & Ricci production is soft but it has an infectious melody that will keep you hooked from start to finish. FRVRFRIDAY is a perfect match for the production, and his falsetto and smooth vocals glide all over this well-composed instrumental. Although the single has a dark feel, the song is about making time for someone that you adore. As we hear the song progress, we see that FRVRFRIDAY is ready to commit to this relationship although they don’t truly know each other. The confessional songwriting mixed with his strong vocal performance gives this intoxicating song a fresh take on love. Overall, this record is a must-listen, and it should be in your late-night drive playlists.
