Ovrkast and Samara Cyn pair up in their new release “Small Talk.” This song is fun and hypnotic while staying within the hip hop realm. Their similar personalities bounce off each other in the music video, really drilling in the topic at hand.

Ovrkast verses are straight to the point and concise as he paints the pathway for Cyn. When Cyn attacks the hook, it brings this hard hitting bounce that takes it to that next level. With the main premise revolved around these two wondering when they’re getting paid, it was funny to see the almost carefree manner they delivered each line. Cyn completely attacked her verse and brought this energetic crescendo. At the end of the day aren’t we all just trying to get paid?
