Rising from the depths of the G-house scene, BIJOU has continued to garner a cult-like fanbase with a dynamic sound that deserves to be in your rotation. As the artistic banner of Ben Dorman, BIJOU has found a way to captivate his audience by blending elements of hip-hop & house music into one. He is a pioneer of this next generation of artists, and he continues to grow. With a career that spans over a decade, BIJOU seems to have finally reached the mountain peak, and he’s stepped into his full potential. Now, he enters our pages with his exceptional EP “Lights Out”.

The 6-track collection is a bold and captivating work of art. In nature, it has a universal sound and each single has its own imprint that proves BIJOU’s genius. In my opinion, this project is his magnum opus. My favorite songs from the EP were “Slow Motion” & “G House Forever (Interlude)”. “Slow Motion” is a buzzing track that is laced with electronic synths, bright production, and a bassline that will have you moving. “G House Forever (Interlude)” is another exceptional track. Although it’s short, it helps keep the cohesive feel of the project. Overall, this project is a celebration of BIJOU’s evolution.

"Lights Out" bridges the past with the future, showcasing his unparalleled ability to innovate while staying true to his essence. This EP is not just a collection of tracks; it's a narrative of growth, exploration, and the pursuit of a sound that resonates on a grand scale. With the promise of large vocal-driven house records set to drop later this year, BIJOU is poised to captivate audiences worldwide, proving that his musical journey is one that continually defies expectations.
