Have you ever listened to an artist that made you fall in love with music again? If so, what made them standout amongst the thousands of artists releasing songs daily. For me, I believe that artists that create music to push the boundaries and elevate the overall feel and sound are the one’s that should be celebrated. This week, I came across an artist that impressed me with their ability to shine amongst their peers. His name is Bryce Bowyn. Hailing from Washington D.C., the versatile artist has garnered industry attention due to his ability to craft captivating and engaging records. He has this innate ability to pour his own life into his songs and that makes him relatable to all that listen. Now, he enters our pages with his latest project “Divine Chemistry”.

“Divine Chemistry” is a 5-track masterpiece that proves Bowyn’s star power. The project is his magnum opus, and it shows his artistic growth as a singer, songwriter, and vibe creator. Touching on a multitude of themes, each record holds a special place in my heart. His ability to craft engaging records that bring the flair and emotion of classic pop records make him otherworldly. Although he still has a modern twist, his ability to deliver introspective and electrifying records can’t be overlooked. When most people make EP’s, they struggle at fleshing out the overall theme. Bryce Bowyn doesn’t.

My favorite record from the project has to be “Saint Sebastian”. The record is laced with lush melodies, captivating synths, and the hook will have you singing along from start to finish. Inspired by Renaissance art and the pain of unrequited, queer love, “Saint Sebastian” is the heartbeat of the album. In addition to “Saint Sebastian”, I was also a fan of “Town” featuring Lexie Martin & “Devils of Dupont”. Overall, this is one of my favorite projects so stream it below!
